Let the Christmas Crafting Begin ...

Okay, so it's December 1st and I think it's time to kick it off with some Christmas "projects" ... and Kelly inspired me to post these adorable ideas. Really this is just a copy of her post today, but I thought I would entice you with the pictures ... LOL.

What perfect timing, I knew I wanted to do a paper chain for Ethan, since I have yet to find an advent calendar that I love ... so I loved this take on it ...

The next two are so cute, so girly and I'm sure Matt will just "love" the addition to our decorations ... but seriously, how could I resist this project. I've got some "free" time next week that I can craft to my hearts delight!

Button Wreath

Thanks Kelly for the links to inspiration ... I would have found them on Ali's blog later today, since I am one of those crazy AE followers. And aren't you glad you checked today?!?

Lucky for me a trip to the LSS and Craft store were on my list for today!

Happy Friday and Happy Weekend!

I love those crafts! We made a holiday chain yesterday. It turned out pretty cute. We use it as a countdown to Christmas and Maddy takes a piece off each day. I think we are going to try the button wreath next week. You'll have to post your finished products when you are done.

Great minds, eh? :)

I really liked how the paper chains is held together by brads but there was no way Garrett was going to sit long enough to do that! He barely finished it as it is! :)

I love the button wreath & tree too but thought the same thing about them being a little too girly. I'll do the tree in a different color though. Did you find lots of buttons at a decent price?

Can't wait to see pictures of the finished products!

I LOVE IT!! If only I didn't have to go to work...I could think of all kinds of things to do to fill up my time. But, instead, I will do 5 concerts this week, yippee. :)

Maybe we can do the button tree together when I get there? So cute...and the wreath - I might need one of those too!! :)
