Inspired ...

First I LOVE going to see movies ... the whole "experience" just makes a movie better for me ... but there are those few times when the movie (with or without the movie theater "experience") stands on it's own as an incredible film ...

The Pursuit of Happyness

... is one of those films. It's a beautiful story of love between father and son, passion and raw determination by the father to make a better life for them. A brilliantly written film with wonderful acting ... seriously, it'll move you.

And it just reinforced to me, the thoughts of Max Lucado in his book, Cure for the Common Life.
Here's what Max refers to as the big idea ...

"Use your uniqueness (what you do)
to make a big deal out of God (why you do it)
every day of your life (where you do it)"

At the convergence of all three is ... your sweet spot!

The cure to the current epidemic of commonness.
Someone sucked the sparkle out of our days!

More to come ... details from a busy, but very fun and festive weekend ... and a list of what is still to come this week as we prepare for a wonderful weekend of celebration!

So good to hear how the movie was. It's on the list!

Great quote from that book! I think I'll have to write that down.
