Our only breaks from each other ...
45.5 hours while Ethan slept
1.5 hours of a MOPS Meeting
Which leaves roughly 92 awake hours together. Now, I can't say we were totally alone during this time, we had the distraction of my parents and of Jessica during the week ... but I was still there, with Ethan.
So, I couldn't really post on this last week as it wouldn't be prudent to tell the online world (especially all you lurkers who I don't know) that Matt was back in DC from Sun - Fri last week. Let's just say I hope it doesn't happen again for a really long time!!
Which is also why my camera was "out of commission" and why I'm scrambling today to get my Christmas cards done. I got a good shot I think, now to format and send to the printer so they can go out by this weekend.
This weekend was good, but a bit of a blur ... I've made up for the lack of sleep of last week by sleeping 22 hours in the last two days ... ahhh, just what I needed!
Candy Cane Cookies are in the oven and I'm gearing up for a fun but busy week ... something (or several things) every day until Friday, then a quick break before a busy weekend. I love this time of year!!
Picture - Taken at one of our favorite houses for Christmas lights ... it's seriously so over the top it's incredible ... we visit it several times in December. I'm thinking of giving a little note and a small Starbucks card to the homeowner(s) of our favorites. Just a small thank you for all the happiness there hard work (and power bill) brings us!

Holy Smoly, that is a ton of lights! Those cookies sound good, we may just have to make some of those.
Where is that house? We promised Garrett a lights tour sometime before Christmas.
I made candy cane cookies yesterday. Not the same ones though so I may have to try that recipe.

Glad your hubby is home. 139 hours of Claire would be a bit much for me. And 22 hours!! I AM JEALOUS!
