Happy Birthday Jessie!

What a wonderful person to celebarte today ... my best friend, Jessie. For almost 20 years now we've shared a an inseperable bond. It didn't start off as instant friendship, but it's grown into something that spans the years and miles and brings us back to each other as if a day hadn't gone by. We really are kindred spirits ... sharing so many of the same loves, values and thoughts about life. I like to say that our friendship is so comfortable. When we go to visit Jessie and Tim, we really feel like it's our home away from home, no anxiety, no expectation, just a warm place to land.

Thank you Jessie for being the friend that you are ... I love you dearly and wish you a most wonderful day filled with lots of love from your family and friends. I can not wait to see you in five days!

Happy Birthday to Candy Louu too!!

How funny to have two friends who have never met, living on opposite sides of the United States, share the EXACT same birthday?!?! Candy is one of four very special friends that I "met" online over a year ago. And while many people have a hard time understanding how someone I've never met could be so dear to me ... well, I don't know how to justify it except to say that people have been meeting and getting to know each other through words far before the internet. However it happened, it did and I'm so glad. Candy is a wonderfully sweet person who goes out of her way to make you happy.
