and the flu ...

What? You haven't heard about the flu this season?

I don't think the "flu" has hit our house yet. I say that because one, I'm not a doctor and two, I've had the flu ... as in the you don't get out of bed or leave your house for a week flu. You can't even watch t.v. or read you feel so awful flu. It's not that bad.

However, some little germie has got Ethan down and he's bummed. Not only is it the week before Halloween, it's also "Red Ribbon/Say No to Drugs Week" with theme days, and it's his first school field trip AND his school's trunk-or-treat. Not a good week to get hit with the sickies.

This is what we say to the flu and all other germies ~















I'm hoping it all clears up today. We've got lots to do to celebrate ... sugar cookies, popcorn balls, Halloween photos, crafting, playdates and more!

(Did you notice my little runner girl? See how much she wants to run? What she doesn't tell you is that my right ankle is swollen and there will be no running for another week and a half to see (fingers crossed and praying) that it heals on its own. So ... no judging the couch potato :).
