Since we're in the final days before the BIG day, I thought I better get a post up about the shower before the wedding post comes along :).
I had the pleasure of hosting my little (and only) sister's bridal shower.
I went with a red/aqua color scheme (both part of her wedding colors) and a kitchen/recipe theme for the shower. The guests were asked to give Summer one of their favorite recipes and then something to help make it (a dish, ingredients, etc.). Summer may not be the world's best cook, but I think she loves the idea of cooking and will be excited to try out all the new recipes she received.
Games ~ Bridal Bingo & "Two Truths and a Lie"
Menu ~ Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwiches & Baked Kettle Chips, Fresh Fruit Salad (Strawberries, Blueberries & Peaches), Veggies (Bell Pepper Strips, Snap Peas & Baby Carrots) with Ranch & Hummus AND Hummingbird Cake for dessert.
Thanks to all who helped it come together (especially you Mom!) and made for a very fun afternoon celebrating my sister.

Thank you so much! It was the best (and only) bridal shower I've ever had :) Thank you for so graciously hosting my friends and making it such a special day for me, I love you! (and with all hope will attempt to cook when we get home from the honeymoon)
What great pictures! And you are very welcome. Other than spending time with your Dad I can't think how I would rather spend my time then with my girls (and boys - soon to be 3 instead of 2!) Tho Ethan is my #1 boy - no slight intended to Matt & Marshall....
