Have you missed me?

Celebrating summer and all that comes with it has caused me to take a bit of a "break" from blogging. I just read this on another blog ... "the more you have to blog about, the less time you have to blog." So very true.

I'll try to hit a few of the highlights and share a few pictures (which are few and far between these days if it isn't something I've sewn :).

Idaho to Oregon and Oregon to Idaho - June 2009
Ethan and I flew to Oregon to spend a few days with Ella, Jessie & Tim (I don't think that order was accidental). Jessie and I then braved the 9 hour drive back to Idaho with our two kiddos. It went remarkably well, we both uttered many thanks to the Higher Power that clearly intervened :). We then had the great delight of Ella, Jessie and Tim (who flew from a business trip) spending time at our house.

It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that five years has passed from when E was that age. It's hard for me to think of a little one joining our family, but helping care for Ella just made my heart long more for this to be a reality. It's not at all how I planned ... but I think it would be pretty wonderful. The blessing of recent and very hopeful fertility tests is also causing my head to swim with the idea of this actually being a possibility.
