I think I say this every year, but I'm not really into "resolutions" per say. Maybe it's because so many people (including myself) make them and break them before even a month has gone by ... maybe because it seems forced, like I need to come up with something? I don't know, it may just be the word I don't like. Because really, I do love a fresh start. Which is why I probably like Monday's so much ... and trash day :).
So this year, I thought I would put down nine things I want to-do in 2009 ... While I hope to be successful at doing them all, I also know some may have to wait until 2010, 2011 ... or maybe never :).
1. Take more pictures ... specifically, take a picture everyday. Wow, this one could be very tough. But I'd love for it to happen ... or even come close to happening. What a great thing to look back on 365 visual memories of the year.
2. Print, back up and organize photos on ONE DAY every month. This would make photo management so much easier ... scrapbooking so much more appealing and me very happy should our hard drive ever crash again.
3. Learn to crochet. As if I need another hobby ...
4. Create a "business" plan for Knitty Bitties. What I want to do, how I'm going to do it, where I see it going, things I want to push myself to try. I'd love to have this done before E starts Kindergarten when I have a few hours each day to dedicate to the "business." This also includes keeping up on "the books" of Knitty Bitties so I'm not stuck spending hours doing it at the end of the year.
5. Participate in 2-3 Craft Bazaars with the main goal being personal enjoyment, fulfillment and growth ... not money!
6. Be a mother after God's own heart. This year is going to grow me ... especially as a mother. I want nothing more than to make sure that I am nurturing Ethan just as God has called me to.
7. Send more cards ... as in snail mail. I love to get it and I want to be better about sending it!
8. Have one day a week where we are "home bound." I'm even thinking of making this one day "computer/tv" free. Just taking a break from it all and just enjoying being in our home together.
9. Do something creative in our house every month. This could be hanging a new picture, re-arranging furniture, sewing a quilt for the couch, painting, etc. Just something to make our house more of a home.
Have you listed any ideas/goals/resolutions/to-do's for the new year? Want to share yours?
Happy Monday!

You are going to laugh when you read my list (which I am working on now and should be posted this evening). We are too much alike.
loving your list. I still need to work on mine. I did do a layout with my wishes for 2009 though. Here's to a good year!
