Oh yes ...

... I'm saving money again this week!

Today's deal was from Albertsons (and today is the last day for this deal):
3 Boxes of Cocoa Puffs
1 Box of Kix
1 Box of Apple Cinnamon Cherrios
2 Boxes of Quaker Oatmeal
1 Box of Simply Harvest Oatmeal
3 Boxes of Quaker Bites
4 Boxes of Simply Harvest Granola Bars

My total ... $18.50 + I earned a coupon for a free gallon of milk.

My total savings was $43.95 ... which means I saved roughly 60%.

In reality, I would never had bought those items above at the shelf price so to me my "savings" is quite inflated. I typically don't shop Albertsons as they are much, much, much higher day to day than Win-Co. But when they have a deal and I can add coupons to it (I used $8 in coupons for the above), it works out quite nicely to pay just over a $1/item.

I think our "pantry" is up to almost 20 boxes of cereal, so pretty soon I'll have to start having blog giveaways for groceries :). But I just can resist it at that price and we like to eat cereal for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert (although not all on the same day) around here, so it won't take us that long to eat through it :).

** Oh ... I would have deducted a SB Iced Tea from my savings up there, but I mistakenly went to the Albertsons NOT near a SB and exercised great control in not driving out of my way to one. **
