I don't know if it's the cold winter nights or the celebration of a new year, but boy oh boy, Matt's family really *likes* that time of year ... and thus we have TONS of September birthdays to celebrate.
We have 7 birthdays and 1 anniversary all within the last two days of August - September and now one approaching the 2nd of October ... which is still basically September ... all on Matt's side of the family ...
But today is one of my favorite birthdays of September ... Julie's birthday!! I met Julie (or at least knew of her) 15 years ago when I started dating her husband's little brother ... 5 years later I married that little brother and now almost 10 years later, I've not only gained a wonderful family "in-love," I've gained one of my best friends. And while there might be a few ( ;) ) years seperating us in age, it never feels like it ... we're two peas in a pod and I'm so glad to have her in my life ... Happy Birthay Julie!!
(BTW - My mother-in-law actually coined the term "in-love" rather than "in-law" within our family. She read it somewhere and though it much more appropriate when referring to her two daugher-in-law's (me & Julie) ... and I like it so much I use it when referring to her and to Julie).
Tomorrow I'll tell you about my very favorite September baby ;).
