Pink, Pink, Pink ... Piggies and Purses!

Pig Cupcakes

How cute are these little piggies? A friend of mine made them a week or so ago for her son's birthday and while we didn't have an official reason to celebrate, I knew Ethan would love making them and eating them! I know this isn't apparent in the picture, but Ethan is snorting like a piggy ... double sweetness right there!

Pink Purses

And my latest knitting craze is this little "clutch" ... a pattern from the book, One Skien, recommend by my friend Linda (same friend that did the pig cupcakes ... how clever is she?!?). You knit it BIG, about double the finish side and then you felt it (washing wool in hot water ... basically shrinking it) into this thicker, almost fabric like knit. This is my second attempt, and while I like it better than the first, I'm still working at perfecting it ;).

I'm also just about done with a fall pumpkin hat for Ethan that will be so cute you'll just want to eat him up!

Happy Monday ... Bring on the week!
