So sorry ... I actually have a lot to say ... I'll try not to overwhelm you all on one post ... after all, I've made a list of several of these "ah-ha's" and can probably talk up a storm the rest of the week!
Matt Update: He got home Saturday and is actually back to work part time. He's feeling SO, SO much better and each day seems to get closer to that "normal" feeling. I think getting back to work was huge for both of us. A little bit of "normal" ...
Clearance Sale Shopping
I'm a sucker for a good sale and a clearance sale is like the creme de' la creme of sales, right? Too bad for my wallet, but I saw news of a great Old Navy clearance sale on my friend Andrea's blog. After visitng Matt at the hospital Friday and hearing the news that he'd be coming home the next day, I had a little pep in my step and decided to check this sale out ... not hoping for much mind you.
Well ... 4 Men's Shirts, 2 Women's Tanks, 2 Women's Capris, 3 Little Boy PJ's, 3 Little Boy Shirts, 1 Baby Girl Romper and 1 Baby Girl Hat later ... I was "sold" on the sale ... LOL. And just over $50 for all of that ... how could a girl resist?!?!

and Churros ... yes you read right, Churros.
The new highlight of my Costco trips is their churros. Have you all tasted this sweet yummy goodness? A hot, fried pastry with lots of cinnamon and sugar ... all for $1. Yep, a buck and I'm in 7th heaven. Unfortunatley, Ethan has also realized the joys of the churro and now begs me for at least half ... I think I'm going to have to splurge next time and get two!
Alright, don't want to overwhelm you all in one night ...
Hopefully I'll be back with more nothing-ness tomorrow!

I am so glad that your DH is better. What a hard time it has been for all of you...
Nothing like treats from Costco. I take the GK there all the time. I love the frozen ice cream but everything is good.
Hope for an semi- uneventful rest of the week for you...blessings zalaine
A hotdog, diet Coke, and churro from Costco is one of my favorite "meals". Of course then it's nothing but fruit and veggies for the rest of the day!
No comment on the supposed sale at Old Navy. :)
We love the Costco churros as well. Garrett loved the big pretzels they had for a long time and he was quite devastated when they replaced them with the churro. It didn't take long to convince him how good they are. As soon as I tell him we're going to Costco he asks for a churro! Did you have one Tuesday? :)
bah - we don't get churros at our coscto...and now we are sad.
ah ha! a little bird told me that you purchased 'special items' (no, i didn't realize the 2 of this, 2 of that until then)....i knew of this sale, but purposely did not inform my blushing bride as she already has too many clothes...sigh...maybe now she'll finally toss that ratty old esprit (sp?) sweatshirt.
The Esprit sweatshirt will live on forever!! Thank you Andrea for being my personal shopper. :)
