His dad came home after a 60+ hour work week and took him out to buy a bike ... his first bike ... a very nice bike. His dad then proceeded to patiently teach him how to ride ... in 90+ degree weather.
This girl is lucky to have a boy to watch learn how to ride his first bike.

This girl and my guy are lucky to have a healthy boy who is able to ride a bike. We're lucky to have a little extra $ in the budget to purchase a bike. All three of us are so lucky we have each other to celebrate a day like today and everyday.
Yep, pretty darn lucky.
**eta - We realized AFTER the bike was home that his helmet was too small. He now has a big ol' stunt helmet. ;D **
