He sure looks sweet ...

Doesn't he?

Well it's a good thing I have pictures like this (taken after our crazy hail storm on April 1st) to remind me of his sweetness ...

Now don't get me wrong ... I love my little friend with all my being, but gosh is he testing my patience on a daily basis.

We're having a lot of selfish, un-thankful and disrespectful attitudes.

So aside from the normal loss of privileges, we've added writing 'I am thankful for a, b and c' on an almost daily basis. Now we are also going to memorize this verse this week ...

'Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.'
-Ecclesiastes 9:10

Because even I am tired of hearing myself say, 'Do your best job.' Now I can just ask him to repeat the verse to me :).

I know this stage will pass, I'm just praying he comes out of it an even sweeter boy :).

Happy Wednesday!

P.S. He should have no problem memorizing this verse. He finished his Sparks book for Awana and then made it half way through the review. That makes me very happy :).

**ETA - This morning E asked me, "Mom will you snuggle with me on the couch?" GAH! He's trying to make me eat my words!

Not your sweet E! He wouldn't test you...I know better than that. :) Adorable picture - you should frame that...too cute!

I hear ya sister. We deal with that a lot around here. The verse we repeat is Phil 2:14 Do everything without complaining or arguing. We are constantly talking about being thankful instead of complaining.
I find myself having to repeat this vs for my benefit too.

Hope you had more snuggle time today too!

He's so much like Garrett. Those first born boys! It'll pass, I promise! :)
