Day 3 & 4 - Handprint & Recycled Hearts

Well I should have known a craft a day for 2 weeks was a little optimistic. Especially when you start the month with your child home sick from school for two days and me feeling like I can not shake this tired/might be getting another cold/no it's just the cough that will not quit/now my ribs ache from all this coughing feeling.

So we've only completed 2 of the 4 crafts planned, but that's okay. We'll make up for it this weekend :).

And tomorrow I'll take some pictures to share ... along with pictures of the world's coolest Awana Grand Prix car and it's proud owner :).

Craft #3 - Handprint Valentine - I plan to frame this one and put it on my hall table where I keep a rotating verse or inspirational quote.
Craft #4 - Recycled Hearts - This is just something easy and free ... I have no idea what we'll do with them since we already have a lot of hearts appearing. Maybe these will be for E's room.

Oh speaking of E's room ... I'm 75% done with the blocks for his quilt top and I started looking for accent pieces (wall art & some vinyl decals) to help complete the 'robot room' transformation for his upcoming birthday. That's a post all its own.

Last, PSA ... Old Navy's "Item of the Week" starting tomorrow is their lace camis for $2 (normally $12.50). Good thing it's errand day ;). That and SB is enough to get me out the door before 9AM!

Oh, we're sick here too:(
I was impressed at the thought of you doing a craft every day! Still you've done great. We even copied one today! (the rolling heart one)
The only trouble is Kristian is not quite old enough and he causes more trouble than anything. I just have to let go of how it's supposed to be done and go w/the flow more!
thanks for the inspiration!

Those hand prints are adorable! Thanks for the idea, we'll have to make those too.
Okay, I wasn't planning to leave the house today, well, until later, but now I think I need to run to ON.
