A daily reminder ...

... to be thankful.

I created our "Thanksgiving tree" with that idea in mind. Just some branches from our tree out front, trimmed to fit a vase, ready to hold our leaves with a daily gratitude. Each of us shares at dinner what we are thankful for that day and then I write it on a paper leaf and stick it to our "tree."

It's right in our living room, the heart of our home. Serving as a reminder of the heart attitude we are to have every day.

Happy Wednesday!

I love it! And it's a super cute decoration too! Would you want to share what some of the leaves say? I'm especially interested in what the smallest member of your family has to say. :) Thanks for sharing this idea & your picture!!

What a wonderful idea - and as Jessie says - super cute! Yes - will we be hearing snippets of what E is thankful for?

We have a squirrel friend who gets an acorn from each of us each day after we write what we are thankful for. I like the tree!

I love this- and I agree with Jessie I'm pretty sure you should post some of these (if they aren't too personal). I was just thinking about how much I have to be thankful for (unfortunately this realization came after a long discussion of financial goals, reading Nickle and Dimed again, etc.), and have to remind myself constantly how blessed I am, love you!
