Oh the fair ...

... how I love your food. The end.

Oh wait, I suppose now I have to add that I love the pure delight you brought to my son in the form of a colorful caterpillar "roller coaster." And a few other rides that caught his eye and caused much excitement. We're so glad we met our friends there and Ethan could enjoy most of the rides with them rather than us.

And you surprised me with all the animals we saw, including one that wouldn't come to mind when I think of you ... an alligator. Or was it a crocodile? As if I would know the difference. It was interesting to witness a grown man "wrestle" an alligator, but Ethan and I preferred petting and feeding the goats and sheep in the petting zoo.



























We did enjoy your delicious food ...

And all I can say is that the following picture alone was worth all the money we spent, the heat we endured and the sun burns we wore.

Seriously, we both died laughing at this one (and he gave me permission to post ... he's a good sport like that). You see Matt is not alone in this ride although that is what it looks like, hence the hilariousness of the picture. He tried to put Ethan on the outside for better photos, but I'm guessing that when that caterpillar hit top speed they didn't want daddy crushing the child.

(Office fans - This makes me think of the episode where Holly thinks Kevin is "special.")
