... to all of you, my loyal readers, who are sticking with me through this "dry" blogging season :).
There have been a lot of signs that "love is in the air" around here ...
Sweet Treats ~

Making these Valentine's for Preschool Classmates ~

We used a heart lollipop and then put them in a gift sack with a small play-do and one of these "homemade" stickers ~

Ethan had the hardest job ... writing his classmates names for their treat bag. Good letter practice :P
More lovely sewing ... pink, red and a little orange thrown in :). I wanted to make a little something for Ethan's teacher and it needed to be quick and not cost too much. I quickly looked through a list of "items to make" that I always seem to be adding to and remembered these "therapy sacks." Perfect! They are quick, very economical since all I had to buy was wheat and one essential oil. They are so cute and smell so good (they are filled with wheat and a few drops of essential oils). I made half with orange oil and half with lavender oil. These were so fun I'm pretty sure they are going to show up in the shop.

I also made some Valentine's of my own. I have the pleasure of hosting my mom & sister overnight tomorrow, so we get to have Valentine's breakfast together. How lovely for me!
Oh and what would Valentine's Day be without thick sugar cookie hearts with delectable icing? We might give these a try. Mmmm ... sugar cookies are my favorite :).
Wishing you a weekend (hopefully a LONG weekend) filled with lots of love from family and friends!!
Happy "Love" Day!

OOH! Love it! And yes, ahem, I see you shop at IKEA just about as much as I do? Great taste. Love that orange wall too (yes, I've got one in my house...)!
