Happiness continued ...

The self-gratifying happiness that is ...
I seem to have a lot of these ...
I will have to work through this issue on my own, please don't judge me ;).

Alright, so I think I made it clear I love getting bit of happiness through the mail ...

Magazines
Netflix
Cards
Packages
and Scrapbooking Kits ...

Once a month I look forward to seeing the mailman back up from the mailbox and walk a big box of scrapbooking schtuff right to my door ... like this one that I'm anxiously awaiting later this week or early next week.

And you all know about my favorite daily refreshment, that brings much happiness and serenity to my days ... my beloved Starbucks Iced Tea. But being the good girl that I am, I do not frequent the store daily, as I once might have, but now brew it at home to get me through until my next Starbucks drive-thru experience.

And for all of you who also like to enjoy this delicious beverage (perhaps I have tempted you and you have tasted the unsweetened nectar and now can not turn away) I just found that you can get a great deal on Tazo black tea for your home brewing.

(Oh yes, this might very well be hint #2 for the blog-iversary give away.)

Alright, I think I have shared enough of my self-gratifying "vices" and now feel much guilt ... I best go work on these issues by cleaning my home for my purpose(s)! Which parts of cleaning bring you the most happiness? For me it's vacuuming (instant gratification) and folding laundry (an excuse to sit in front of the t.v. and not feel like I should be doing something). Now, share yours ...

Happy Wednesday!!

My favorite part of cleaning has to be vacuuming and sweeping. I love seeing that dirt instantly disappear. However, I do not like anything about mopping which is kind of weird since they're in the same "family".

Not to judge, but I think we in America do have to be careful on too much "self" gratification....it is too easy in our society to focus on what makes us soooo happy, instead of what makes God happy. We can have fun and enjoy life, but you are right about the joy, deep down joy and contentment is where it is at!!!
Great couple of posts, Andrea!

My favorite kind of cleaning... the deep clean. No, I don't love to do it, but I LOVE the feeling afterward. I also love to completely empty the closet and put it back together piece by piece... it's amazing how much can be tossed! But my favorite daily is just picking up the clutter. Your house can be fairly dirty, but look passable if the clutter is picked up.

I actually love to clean my house. I love the feeling of accomplishment and I love everything there is to love about a clean house :) My favorite "chore" would have to be vacuuming. Kinda like a bed that is made, it makes the room feel clean even if it really isn't. Know what I mean.

I love that set of scrapbook goodies. Kim gets that mosh posh deal too. I have never looked into it. Is it a good deal? How exciting would that be to get such goodness in the mail each month!

Ah...a clean house. I like the whole thing. What I don't like to do is clean the cat box (I do it anyway) & clean the toilet (I let Tim do that). I like making the bed, vacuuming, dusting, tidying, & putting everything in it's place. Shocking, I know. OOohhh, & I really like to 409 the kitchen counters...

Fun mail!! What is this 'blog-iversary' business about? Is it 1 year of the blog? What will my prize be?

My phone didn't ring tonight - interesting... :)

I hope EE had fun with Mr. Harmon.

I look at those things like God's blessings! :o)
Thanks for the scoop on the tea, YUM! But I love the sweetened nectar of it all!
