Time for a little of this and a little of that ...

My friend Kelly has posted quite of few of these lists lately and I thought I would too since I have just that, a little of this and a little of that, floating through my head.

This week has been GOOD ... a fine balance of getting things done and also relaxing and enjoying life. The fact that we are all on the mend from our week of colds is a huge part of this joy I'm sure.

Monday goodness:
  • Library with Ethan, he just loves the library.
  • Starbucks tea AND pumpkin loaf (which tastes even better when it's a crisp 60 degrees outside).
  • Grocery shopping with a coupon savings of $8.25!!

Tuesday goodness:
  • I made it to my MOPS Steering Team meeting with both boys and while Ethan did have another seperation break down, it was short lived and he did end up having fun. Max was wonderful, flirting, giggling and napping during the meeting.
  • Peaches, peaches, peaches. My next door neighbor and good friend Erin went to the orchard last friday and got 3 boxes of peaches and let me have a helping of them. Well, they ripened FAST and I had to do something with them or loose them all ... again, both boys were AWESOME and I was able to make one peach pie and 3 peach cobbler fillings, to freeze for this winter. Let me just say it again, those boys were so good I was actually feeling like I could be the mother of two ;).

Wednesday goodness:

  • I got to sleep in until 8:10AM ... and this after falling asleep around 10:30PM!! How spoiled am I? It's got to be this cooler/darker weather. Matt's been in bed watching the news by 10PM for the last week or so ... and I seem to follow right along.
  • Today is cleaning day and you know I love cleaning day ... we're still in our jammies!
  • And the best part of today is yet to come ... Julie ASKED to watch Ethan this afternoon. Which means I have an afternoon all to me. I don't even think I'll come home. I'm just going to go visit all the stores and places that are so hard to go to or thouroughly enjoy with a two year old in tow.

That's all for now ... although I have a "wish list" of 'this and thats' that I need to share soon too! Happy Wednesday!
